So here it goes! Last weekend the weather was stunning, a little on the hot side, but still lovely! We decided we should spend almost all saturday outside! So we did it! We started our day going to a beautiful and big park in the city nearby!
We took a little walk - holding hands (this reminded me so much of the time when we're dating) - to get to the lovely river to refresh our feet a little bit! Rebecca Loved it!! She even cried when we're trying to leave the water! Then Rebecca played a lit bit in the playground.
After that, we went to the city's historic little center to have lunch! The whole place is very pleasant and we really enjoyed our time there!
In the afternoon Rebecca took a good nap. Meanwhile, D and I watched some sitcom episodes together. When Rebecca was up again, we all went to the swimming pool for a long hour of splashing water and sun! We had brazillian beef stroganoff for dinner! Yum!
On Sunday we went to mass early in the morning! Then I asked D to go to a kolaches place 20 min away for breakfast! While we were driving we prayed the rosary together, holding hands again! Thanks God for the automatic cars!
Unfortunately, the place was closed. But praying the rosary together and enjoying the road and the landscape was pretty relaxing!! Rebecca even took a little nap on the way back!
For lunch we ate a good pasta with tosted bread and an ice cold coke! And finally, at the end of the day, D had a soccer game and for the first time Rebecca and I could go and watch him play! It was fun cheering for daddy for the first time!! For dinner we had our awesome homemade hamburgers and oven fries with coke again! Yum!
And that's our great last weekend! Hopefully we'll have a another good one starting tomorrow if the weather cooperates! Although I really enjoyed the rain showers this afternoon!! Have a great weekend everyone!
